DCCC outlines Chabot's Delay/Ney connection

http://www.dccc.org/races/candidates/OH_01_John_Cranley.html

Some facts about Steven Chabot and how tied up Rep. Chabot is with the GOP Culture of Corruption...

Representative Chabot has a very cozy relationship with the GOP Leadership.
  • Chabot has taken $3,000 from House Majority Leader John Boehner.
  • Chabot received $20,000 from House Majority Leader John Boehner's "Freedom Project" PAC.
  • Chabot received $2,000 from GOP Whip Roy Blunt's "Rely on Your Beliefs" PAC.
  • Chabot voted with President Bush 85% of the time.
  • Chabot voted the GOP party line 95% of the time.
Why do you think Chabot is just rubber stamping the Republican agenda?

How tied up is Representative Chabot with the Tom DeLay scandal? Chabot has taken:
  • $21,224 from Tom DeLay's ARMPAC.
With all of these ties to the DeLay mess, is it any surprise that Chabot has:
  • Voted to weaken House ethics rules when DeLay proposed doing so as GOP Majority Leader.
  • Voted with Tom DeLay 90% of the time.
Is Representative Chabot serving Ohio voters, or the Republican money machine?

Representative Chabot has disturbing ties to disgraced and convicted former Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham. Chabot has taken:
  • $1,000 from MZM founder Mitchell Wade, whose purchase of Cunningham's home for a hugely inflated price was recognized as a thinly-veiled bribe.
Should Representative Chabot's Ohio constituents be concerned about this association with a confessed criminal?
