Chabot + Rumsfeld = "Heckofa Job"

Amidst the controversy over no-confidence legislation against Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld, I found an interesting quote from Steve Chabot. Chabot, who is a member of the House Judiciary Committee, overheard impeachment hearings of Rumsfeld back in 2004. Back in 2004, Rumsfeld oversaw the Gitmo prison abuses without forcing them to stop, he oversaw the "strategy" to succeed in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the "war" against terrorism.

We all know he has done a piss poor job. Granted, it is a very tough and demanding job, it is unacceptable how poor he has actually carried out the duties of his position. It's important to also remember all the illegalities over many policies Rumsfeld has carried out.
With that said, it comes to no surprise that Congressman Chabot thought Rumsfeld was doing a, quote, "
exemplary job", and he also added, "I think to bring up impeachment under these circumstances is ludicrous and absurd". [Source]. I wonder what Chabot is thinking now. Considering he votes with Bush 92% of the time, you would think he would continue to act like a sheep and support Rumsfeld. But Chabot also claims to be a maverick, as witnessed in his latest stupid campaign commercial. I don't know what really qualifies him to be a maverick. To find out, I looked up the word in the dictionary:

1 : an unbranded range animal; especially : a motherless calf
2 : an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party

Based on the above definition provided by Merriam-Webster, Chabot, a baby cow with no mother, will likely continue to bandwagon with the Republican Party establishment and ignore the poor job Rumsfeld has done; thus, instead passing the buck to a new President.

That is not leadership.

If there is one thing we can count on with Cranley, it's that he will always be an honest and outspoken leader. We have witnessed that during his career at City Council and through his publicly available pledges.

Chabot a maverick! Ha! I have never heard something that funny in my life! Chabot is so conservative he makes George Bush look like Michael Dukakis.

I would have to agree that if Chabot is sort of maverick, he is absolutely the son of a cow, and not a politican who often breaks with his party.

Ohio's first is Ohio's battleground. Who dey.
