New Chabot Ad Sends a Message to Cincinnati Minorities: You Don't Matter

The new Steve Chabot commercial seems like a regular, fake campaign commerical on the surface. But watch it twice. You will notice something. Before I tell you, consider this:

The demographics of OH-01 are:
  • White: 69.1%
  • Black or African American: 27.5%
  • Other: 4%
The demographics of the approximately 44 people in Chabot's latest commerical:
  • 43 white
  • 1 black
The demographics of the 11 people in Chabot's other commercial:
  • 11 White
  • 0 black
So in the past two Chabot for Congress commericals, he has showcased a whopping 54 white people and 1 black person (coincidentally, shot from behind). What exactly is he trying to convey?

If anyone bothered to check their dictionaries, Steve “Maverick” Chabot is either hiding a branding 2W4W (washington whore for W) somewhere under his “dissident” suit or he’s giving back the money he raised from a VP visit recently.

Dissident? We don’t buy it.

Someone please describe Chabot's latest "racist" ad. I haven't noticed a new one on tv and there isn't a new one on his website.

Minorities don't matter and this is news?

I just hope the first two people to post aren't registered voters.

While John Cranley was prancing around Cambridge, Steve was on the Hill casting important votes and doing the people's work in D.C.

I'll make you this deal: name one issue where Cranley is "obviously superior" and then I'll think about voting for this blue-blooded Harvard bastard.

Hi Anonymous,
Its not about having one candidate being more "superior" than the other. Its a matter of electing a Member of Congress who will put the interests of the people of Cincinnati first, not be a lapdog for the Bush Administration.

Issues where Cranley trumps Chabot:

Finance and Budgeting and any other issue.

Of course Chabothead has more experience on federal issues in Congress, but what does he have to show for it? He doesn't know how to balance budgets, he's drawn America and China closer to war, and now he is spitting rhetoric about Iran that may provoke them to do something horribly stupid.

Steve Chabot had his chance to impress Cincinnati voters. He really fucked up. I'm ready to give Councilman
Cranley a chance.

Chabot drove Cincinnati into poverty by taking federal tax dollars away from this area into an area promoting class division. He blames it on the local yocals but they too have had there hands tied by what the feds legislate, regulate...

Chabot is part of the money laundering scam that has been going on in Washington since the Bush Mafia took office.

Cincinnati already has enough issues with racial division and strife, and it's sickening that Steve Chabot is exploiting the long-standing situation for the sake of gaining the votes of fearful whites who live away from downtown and OTR. It says a lot for Chabot's character and how little he cares about the future of the area he represents. In any case, I don't know a lot about Cranley, but anyone who is willing to disregard the vote of a Cincinnati "minority" like myself isn't good enough for my vote.
