Enquirer Endorses a Democratic Challenger Against a Republican Incumbment: Pepper v. Heimlich

The Enquirer actually chose NOT to endorse a local Republican incumbent office holder Phil Heimlich, and instead go with the aspiring Democratic challenger for the county commissioner seat.

This gives hope toward a Cranley endorsement from the Enquirer editorial board.

Both Cranley and Pepper have similar political backgrounds, both entering City Council around the same time, both being moderate, and both having the guts to take on big challenges.

I assume they realize it is time for change in Cincinnati. Let's hope that hope extends beyond county limits.
